Thomas R. Watkins, D.D.S. "Dr. Tom"
Dr. Tom is a graduate from Texas Tech University and the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School, and completed his residency in the U.S. Air Force, serving for 4 years.

Dr. Tom was also mentioned in Texas Monthly in November 2008, in the section of Super Dentists. More on that soon.

In private dental practice in San Antonio since 1984, Dr. Watkins is an Associate Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School.

He is a member of the San Antonio District Dental Society as well as the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association and numerous other professional and civic organizations.

Dr. Watkins teaches at the dental school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, and all day on Fridays.

Dr. Long has also completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Health Science Center in San Antonio. With this program Dr. Long has received advanced training in dental surgical procedures and conscious sedation techniques.

She supports organized dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and other various and local dental societies.

In her spare time she enjoys going on dental mission trips in the states and abroad, training for various running and triathlon races, painting, playing the piano and spending time with her family.
