Pediatric Dentistry (Children's Dentistry)
Here at W Dental Group we feel that helping to create a great first experience at the dentist is important to developing your child's dental health. In our kid friendly atmosphere, we start seeing children at age 1 and up, for happy exams (stress-free first time visits to allow them to get to know our staff and facilities) and then progress to comprehensive dental care.

Pediatric Services include exams, cleanings, fluoride, protective sealants, fillings,> pediatric crowns and comprehensive orthodontics. For anxious children we offer nitrous oxide and sedative medications to help them safely and effectively complete dental treatment.

Sedation Dentistry
If you are extremely anxious and fearful of visiting the dentist we offer several sedation options to help you comfortably complete your dental treatment.

What is sedation? Sedation is a process used to establish a relaxed, easy and calm state through the use of sedatives. This is also known as "sleep dentistry." Sedative drugs include several anti-anxiety medications and anxiolytic nitrous oxide. We offer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide therapy, oral sedation and intravenous sedation to help manage dental phobias.

One of the major benefits of sedation dentistry is that people often feel like their dental procedure lasts only a few minutes, when in fact it might have taken hours to perform. Sedation dentistry enables you to be kept awake throughout the entire procedure, but you will feel relaxed and likely won't remember much about your treatment. Almost all dental procedure can be performed while you are sedated - including root canal, fillings, crowns, gum work and cleanings. You can have the smile you want, painlessly.
